When To Treat?
Orthodontics can be done at any age - yes, we treat adults as well as children. In fact, approximately 20% of our patients are adults. For younger children, we will advise you at the first visit when the best time is to start treatment.

The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that the first orthodontic assessment visit be when the first or six-year permanent molars and the upper and lower permanent front teeth have made an appearance. Generally this occurs at age 7 or 8, but it is best to see a child for the first time no later than before he or she finishes grade three. Many problems, and consequently many treatments, are growth related.
